Below-Grade Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) Foundations are rapidly becoming one of the most popular ways to build, as they provide huge advantages to conventional concrete foundations and offer long-term savings by eliminating the need for many traditional foundation necessities – which more than makes up for the slightly higher initial cost.
We choose to promote the AMVIC+ 3.30 ICF System, as we feel it is a superior block, both in cost and design, to anything we have seen on the market today. Also available is a “Screen-Grid” ICF block that is 100% Polystyrene and can save 30%-50% in concrete costs. The “Screen-Grid” would be an excellent product for frost walls, crawl space basements and mobile/manufactured home foundations.
