ABOUT US

On Point Construction and Forming Ltd. (OPCF) was incorporated by Chris and Sarah Cousens in 2016, specializing in concrete forming in the Shuswap and Okanagan region. Chris is a Red Seal Certified Carpenter who began concrete forming in Vancouver in 2005. After building high-rises for several years, Chris and Sarah relocated to the Shuswap in 2010, where Chris worked in commercial and residential construction. Eventually, Chris decided to start a company that could support his family and employ local carpenters and tradespeople that share his passion for diverse and interesting builds.

OPCF believes in using technology and forethought to ensure all projects run smoothly, efficiently and produce high quality results our clients have come to expect from us. We ensure accuracy by using our Robotic Total Station or Digital Theodolite to prepare the layout for all our buildings. Every project begins in the planning stages, which means working diligently with top-rated engineers, architects, contractors and tradespeople to make each client’s dream a polished reality.

Whether it’s an off-grid project, conventionally formed concrete walls, multi-story Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) building, or a commercial steel building, OPCF has a history of producing builds that exceed expectations. We believe in training for the future, strive to employ certified ticketed tradespeople and encourage apprenticeship training for all employees.
